16日の予約がスタートした時に、すぐに予約が完了できるように、

So that you can finish the reservation right away when pre-orders start on the 16th,

you'd enter things like your address, what you're buying, which color you'll pick, whether you'll add Apple Care, and so on, I guess.

What are people planning to buy this M5 Ultra Max Studio for? It's selling like crazy to people who want to run AI locally.

これM3Ultraの時とかにもうすでに爆売れして、市場からなくなってしまって、もうずっと買えなかったの。

Like with the M3 Ultra, it sold out immediately, vanished from the market, and I couldn't buy one for ages.

M3Ultraの512っていうのはみんな欲しくて買えない。

Everyone wanted the M3 Ultra 512 and couldn't buy it.

それぐらいローカルでAIをやりたい人からすると、もうめちゃくちゃよだれが出るほど欲しいマシンなんです。

For people who want to run AI locally to that extent, it's a machine they want so badly they'd drool.

ここ256じゃダメで、全然いいんだけど、

256 isn't enough here—though honestly it'd be perfectly fine,

これでもいいんですけど、

even this one would be fine, but...

512っていうのがすごい大事で、

512 is the really important one,

このメモリの中にこのローカルLLMのモデルっていうのをこうボンって載せて、

because you load this local LLM model into the memory, just like that,

それでこう計算させるっていうことみたいなんですけど、

and then you make it do the calculations—that's the idea.

これメモリがちっちゃいとちっちゃいモデルしか乗らないみたいなね。

So if the memory is tiny, only tiny models will fit, it seems.

このメモリにどんだけ載せるかっていうのが大事っぽくて。

How much you can load into this memory seems to be what matters.

だから256よりも512を買った方がすごいモデルをドーンって載せて、

So if you buy 512 instead of 256, you can load a much more powerful model, boom,

それでこう高度な計算ができるっていうことみたいなんですよ。

and then do that kind of advanced computation, you know.

で、ここから向こう数年ね、AIの価格もどんどんね、月額とかもどんどん上がってって、

And from here on, over the next few years, the price of AI and monthly fees and so on will just keep going up.

AIを使いこなすためにお金がかかるっていう時代になってきてる中で、やっぱりここでドーンって投資をしておいて、ローカルでぶん回せる。

In an age where you need money to make full use of AI, after all it's best to invest in one big go here and then run things locally.

僕なんかやっぱりね、とにかく動画、動画を生成したりとかってしたいってなると、すぐこうクレジットとかもなくなっちゃったりとかするじゃないですか、動画生成とかだと。

As for me, if I want to generate videos and such, I'd run out of credits right away, wouldn't I, with video generation and so on?

なんか短い動画とかしか作れなかったり。

I'd end up only being able to make short videos and the like.

でも例えば自分の今までのYOUTUBE動画全部読み込ませて覚えさせて、

長い目で見てペイできるんじゃないかっていう風に僕は思ってます。

I think that, looked at over the long term, I could probably make it pay for itself.

その直前に買えた人たちがいて、やったーみたいな。

There were people who bought it right before that, like, "Yay!"

60万浮いたぜみたいなことを言ってる人がいて。

Some people were saying things like, "I saved 600,000 yen!"
