I am Maria, and it's Monday, and I definitely have a Monday feel today.Soy María, es lunes y definitivamente hoy tengo sensación de lunes.

In English, sometimes we say, "I have a case of the Mondays,"En inglés, a veces decimos: "I have a case of the Mondays",

which simply just means you're really tired from the weekend, and it's getting hard to get your week started.que simplemente significa que estás muy cansada del fin de semana y te cuesta arrancar la semana.

Sometimes on Mondays I feel really energized and motivated to start the week,A veces los lunes me siento con mucha energía y motivada para empezar la semana,

but other times I just feel really tired, and it's really hard for me to get going.pero otras veces me siento muy cansada y me cuesta mucho ponerme en marcha.

So I have the most important thing that you need to have on a Monday, some coffee.Así que tengo lo más importante que necesitas tener un lunes: un poco de café.

This is my favorite coffee cup.Esta es mi taza de café favorita.

In Spanish it says, "Tú puedes con todo. Eres la bomba."En español dice: "Tú puedes con todo. Eres la bomba".

And today I thought that I would just talk a little bit about my weekend.Y hoy pensé que hablaría un poquito sobre mi fin de semana.

My husband and I live far away from our families.Mi esposo y yo vivimos lejos de nuestras familias.

My family lives in the United States, and his family lives in Germany, and I live in Spain.Mi familia vive en Estados Unidos, su familia vive en Alemania y yo vivo en España.

This coffee cup is a little bit hot.Esta taza de café está un poco caliente.

I'm just gonna put it down.Solo voy a dejarla aquí.

So my mother-in-law came to visit us, and mother-in-law means the mother of your spouse's.Mi suegra vino a visitarnos, y suegra significa la madre de tu cónyuge.

A spouse is your husband or wife, so it's your husband or wife's mother.Un cónyuge es tu esposo o esposa, así que es la madre de tu esposo o esposa.

And instead, we went to a plaza nearby and just had something to drink and enjoyed the atmosphere.Y en su lugar, fuimos a una plaza cercana, tomamos algo de beber y disfrutamos del ambiente.

Here in Spain, there are many plazas where there are also parks for children and restaurants right next to them,Aquí en España hay muchas plazas donde también hay parques para niños y restaurantes justo al lado,

so it's a really great place for people to go and sit, eat something, drink something, andasí que es un lugar estupendo para que la gente vaya y se siente, coma algo, beba algo,

And in general, it's just really fun, and it's a nice atmosphere.Y en general, es muy divertido y es un ambiente agradable.

So we did that on Friday instead of going to the dance show, and it ended up being really fun.Así que hicimos eso el viernes en lugar de ir al espectáculo de baile, y acabó siendo muy divertido.

It's a really long recipe which takes lots of time and has lots of steps, so she spent the whole day cooking it.Es una receta muy larga que lleva mucho tiempo y tiene muchos pasos, así que pasó todo el día cocinándola.

And I really loved this because I love to cook myself,Y me encantó esto porque a mí me encanta cocinar,

but I also really love to watch others cookpero también me encanta mucho ver cocinar a otros

and see how they do things and techniques that they use to get lots of flavor out of food.y ver cómo hacen las cosas y las técnicas que usan para sacarle mucho sabor a la comida.

So on Saturday, I wrote her recipe down on a piece of paper,Así que el sábado anoté su receta en un trozo de papel,

and it actually felt really good to just sit and write.y en realidad se sintió muy bien simplemente sentarme y escribir.

I really liked this feeling, and I realized I never just sit and write a lot.Me gustó mucho esta sensación y me di cuenta de que nunca me siento a escribir mucho.

I usually don't cook recipes that take a long time to make.Normalmente no cocino recetas que tardan mucho en hacerse.

However, I do try to make food as flavorful as possible.Sin embargo, sí intento que la comida sea lo más sabrosa posible.

Sometimes it's just really fun to put on nice clothes and get out of the houseA veces es muy divertido ponerse ropa bonita y salir de casa

and be in a nice restaurant atmosphere, especially if you don't do it that often.y estar en el ambiente de un buen restaurante, sobre todo si no lo haces tan a menudo.

It makes it extra special.Lo hace aún más especial.

So then when we came home from the lunch, I watched a movie with my husband and my kids,Así que, cuando volvimos a casa después del almuerzo, vi una película con mi esposo y mis hijos,

and the movie is called Coco.y la película se llama Coco.

It is a Disney animated movie,Es una película animada de Disney,

and wow, this movie is so good.y guau, esta película es muy buena.

My husband and I were both crying at the end.Mi esposo y yo estábamos llorando los dos al final.

Not a sad cry.No un llanto triste.

It was a happy cry because this movie has a really beautiful story, and the ending is just really sweet.Fue un llanto feliz, porque esta película tiene una historia muy bonita y el final es simplemente muy tierno.

I think it is my favorite Disney movie.Creo que es mi película de Disney favorita.

It's definitely my favorite Disney movie right now, and it may be one of my favorite movies.Definitivamente es mi película de Disney favorita ahora mismo, y puede que sea una de mis películas favoritas.

I really love watching movies with my kids because they're really good for adults to watch too.Me encanta ver películas con mis hijos porque también son muy buenas para que las vean los adultos.

They're not just for kids.No son solo para niños.

I enjoy them just as much as they do.Las disfruto tanto como ellos.

Then for dinner, we were still so full after eating this really big lunch,Luego, para la cena, todavía estábamos muy llenos después de comer un almuerzo muy grande,

but we ate just a little bit of soup, and then we went to bed.pero comimos solo un poquito de sopa y luego nos fuimos a la cama.
