Oh, this will be a good fish soup.
But suddenly!
I'll do everything for you that you want.
Hello, friends!
My name is Sergey.
And today I will tell you a story.
This story is called "The Magic Pike".
Magic, right?
Magic, like Harry Potter, right?
It possesses magic.
And it is a pike.
Yes, a pike is a kind of fish. There.
The magic pike.
Once upon a time there lived an old man.
Yes, an old man.
And he had three sons: two smart sons, but the third son was a fool.
Дурак means fool, not smart.
So, this is the third son.
His name is Emelya.
Let's write it down.
Emelya, right? There.
And Emelya is very lazy, right?
He... He doesn't want to do anything.
The two brothers always work and work, doing this and that.
But Emelya, he doesn't want to do anything.
All day long he lies, yes, on the stove.
This is a stove. There.
A печь is a Russian stove.
You see, here there is a fire, firewood, here is smoke. There.
Emelya lies right here. Yes?
All day long he lies there and does nothing.
Then the brothers, the two brothers, went to the market to buy various things, while Emelya lies on the stove.
And the brothers had wives, right?
And the wives say to Emelya: "Hey, Emelya, go get water."
Yes, water, yes, go get water.
But Emelya says: "Don't feel like it," right?
"Неохота" means "I don't want to."
They say: "If you don't go for water, then your brothers won't bring you presents."
Right? These are presents.
Emelya says: "Okay."
Right? He climbed down from the stove, got dressed, and took the buckets.
Yes, this is a bucket.
He took two buckets and took an axe.
This is an axe.
And he went for water.
Right? It's winter now, and it's cold outside.
And in Russia, when it's winter, people get water from the river.
This is a river.
Emelya went to the river.
He took the axe, right? And he...
He chopped through the ice of the river, took the buckets and, hop, scooped up a little water.
There. And now he has two buckets of water.
But suddenly Emelya looks into the water and sees a pike.
Yes, a pike.
Then Emelya grabbed the pike and pulled it out of the water.
And Emelya looks at the pike and says: "Oh, that will make a good fish soup."
And the pike began to speak like a human.
The pike says to Emelya: "Hey, Emelya, let me go, and I'll help you."
Emelya laughs: "How will you help me? You're a pike; I'd rather make a tasty soup out of you."
The pike says: "Emelya, I'll do everything you want for you."
He's like: "You're deceiving me."
She's like: "No, no, I'm not deceiving you, I'll do everything. Say these words: 'By the pike's command, at my wish.'"
Yes, these are magic words, like in Harry Potter, I don't know, Wingardium Leviosa, right?
Or Avada Kedavra, right?
That's a spell. There.
And the pike has a spell too, and she says:
"By the pike's command, yes, by the pike's command, by my wish, yes, what I want."
There. By the pike's command, by my wish.
Magic words, right? Magical words. There.
And then Emelya says: "By the pike's command, by my wish, buckets, go home by yourselves."
And suddenly the buckets start walking home by themselves, right?
They go into the house and sit down on the bench.
Then Emelya goes, "Oh, good."
So Emelya goes home and then lies down on his stove.
Then the brothers' wives say again: "Emelya, go out to the yard and chop some firewood," right?
This is firewood here.
Let's write it.
So, they say: "Chop firewood with an axe," right?
Emelya says: "I don't feel like it."
They say again: "If you don't chop the firewood, the brothers won't bring you any gifts from the market."
Emelya, quietly, says: "By the pike's command, by my wish, chop the firewood yourselves and come back home."
And the firewood chops itself, right? Or it gets hewn.
So, suddenly the axe goes out into the yard and chops the firewood,
and the firewood goes thump-thump-thump home and jumps into the stove by itself, yes, into the oven.
The girls watch and think: something is strange, this is not normal.
After this the firewood ran out, and Emelya lies there doing nothing, yes, he's comfortable, he's lazy.
And after this, his sisters-in-law tell Emelya again.
Emelya goes, "Ugh, I'm sick of you already."
They tell him, "Emelya, we've run out of firewood. Go to the forest on the sleigh, okay?"
This is a forest, and this is a sleigh.
They tell him, "Go to the forest on the sleigh for firewood, okay? Chop some wood."
That is, you need to chop trees so that there is firewood.
Emelya says, "Oh, fine, fine."
Then Emelya sits down on the sleigh and says to the women, "Hey, women, open the gates!"
And they laugh, "What, are you going to ride a sleigh without a horse? Really? What, are you a fool?"
He goes, "Ha!" and says, "By the pike's command, by my wish, sleigh, drive yourself to the forest."
And he rides the sleigh to the forest by itself, without a horse, right?
He has an axe.
When he rode through the town, many people didn't manage to get out of the way, you see.
Because they don't see a horse, and they fell under the sleigh, right?
So it hurt them.
Oh! So, the people were angry.
And Emelya quickly drove off to the forest.
In the forest, the firewood chopped itself, the trees cut themselves down, and everything jumped onto the sleigh by itself. There.
And Emelya rides back home through the town.
And in the town, the people are already getting ready to beat Emelya up.
Then Emelya says, "By the pike's command, by my wish, take a stick,
yes, or, that is, one piece of firewood, and beat, yes, like that, beat these people."
And the stick comes and starts beating the people, right?
Because the people want to beat up Emelya,
and the stick, it's like a shield, you know, it's Emelya's protection.
And Emelya rides home quickly,
while the people fight with that stick.
After this, the tsar heard about Emelya, you know, that's the tsar, and he says to his officer:
"Officer, go and find this Emelya and bring him to me in the palace," you know, that's the tsar's palace.
Then the officer arrives at Emelya's house.
He... comes in, looks at Emelya, who is lying on the stove, and says:
"Hey, are you a fool, Emelya?"
He's like: "Me? Yes. What do you want?"
"Get ready, we're going to the tsar."
And Emelya says: "Hm, I don't feel like it, I don't feel like it."
Then he got angry, the officer, and he wanted to beat Emelya up.
Then Emelya says quietly:
"By the pike's command, by my wish, take, stick, the firewood, stick, and beat this officer."
And suddenly the stick flies up and starts beating the officer.
The officer got scared, beaten all over, and ran back to the tsar.
And Emelya just keeps lying there and resting, doing nothing.
Then the tsar thinks about what to do.
And this time he doesn't send the officer, he sends his assistant, right?
And his assistant is gentler.
So, when his assistant went to Emelya, he bought a lot of tasty food, right?
Raisins, prunes, gingerbread, right?
Because he wants to do something nice for Emelya.
He arrives at Emelya's house and says: "Hello, Emelya."
Well, but before he spoke with Emelya, he asked the wives, yes, the wives and the brothers.
He asks them: "So what does Emelya like?"
And they say: "Emelya likes it when people speak kindly to him, yes, talk nicely.
And he likes good clothes."
Then the servant, yes, the king's helper, comes up to Emelya and says: "Are you Emelya?"
He's like: "Yes. What do you want?"
"I have a lot of presents for you," right?
And he gives him this tasty food: raisins, prunes, gingerbread.
And he also says: "Please come with me to the tsar. He wants to see you."
Emelya says: "Don't feel like it."
Then he says: "If you come, I'll give you a beautiful suit, okay? A really beautiful fur coat, a beautiful fur coat."
And Emelya says: "Oh, all right, you go first, and I'll go, yes, I'll go after you."
So then the king's servant goes, and Emelya says:
"By the pike's command, by my wish, go, stove, by yourself to the king, yes, to the tsar." There.
And suddenly the stove crackled and the door, no, a wall in the house, fell down.
Emelya was sitting on the stove, right?
And the stove went across the whole city to the tsar.

Then Emelya says, "By the pike's command, by my wish, take a stick,
да, или, то есть одно дровишко, и побей , да, так, побей этих людей".yes, or, that is, one piece of firewood, and beat, yes, like that, beat these people."
And the stick comes and starts beating the people, right?
Because the people want to beat up Emelya,
Вот.and the stick, it's like a shield, you know, it's Emelya's protection.
And Emelya rides home quickly,
Вот,while the people fight with that stick.
After this, the tsar heard about Emelya, you know, that's the tsar, and he says to his officer:
Officer, go and find this Emelya and bring him to me in the palace," you know, that's the tsar's palace.
Then the officer arrives at Emelya's house.
He... comes in, looks at Emelya, who is lying on the stove, and says:
Hey, are you a fool, Emelya?"
He's like: "Me? Yes. What do you want?"
Get ready, we're going to the tsar."
And Emelya says: "Hm, I don't feel like it, I don't feel like it."
Then he got angry, the officer, and he wanted to beat Emelya up.
Then Emelya says quietly:
By the pike's command, by my wish, take, stick, the firewood, stick, and beat this officer."
I have a lot of presents for you," right?
And he gives him this tasty food: raisins, prunes, gingerbread.
And he also says: "Please come with me to the tsar. He wants to see you."
Emelya says: "Don't feel like it."
Then he says: "If you come, I'll give you a beautiful suit, okay? A really beautiful fur coat, a beautiful fur coat."
And Emelya says: "Oh, all right, you go first, and I'll go, yes, I'll go after you."
So then the king's servant goes, and Emelya says:
By the pike's command, by my wish, go, stove, by yourself to the king, yes, to the tsar." There.
And suddenly the stove crackled and the door, no, a wall in the house, fell down.
Emelya was sitting on the stove, right?
And the stove went across the whole city to the tsar.
