Hi everyone!
Easy Russian.
You're on the Easy Russian channel.
And today I was at work, and yesterday I went to a great concert.
In May I went on vacation.
As you understood, in this video we want to teach you to talk about the past in Russian.
Let's go chat with the residents of Yekaterinburg and find out what happened to them in the past.
What did you do yesterday evening?
Ah, yesterday evening I came back from work very late
and so all that was left for me was to rest, watch a series and fall asleep in a pleasant place, in a nice warm bed.
Yesterday evening, um, I actually rested.
I had a day off, and I went to the theater for a production.
My favorite production is Kharms's "The Old Woman".
There were a lot of people.
Afterwards they even interviewed me.
It was very interesting.
So, you often get interviewed, right?
It turns out that, probably, I somehow attract attention.
Last night we went to a fair, watched a concert, bought books, and walked around.
Yesterday evening.
Um, I walked around the city and took photos.
Yesterday evening I watched "City Girls".
It's a film from the 2000s–2010s about the daughter of rock-and-rollers who, they died, her parents.
And she squandered the whole inheritance and became a nanny for an obsessive-compulsive girl.
She herself is such a hysterical type, and they balanced each other out.
And yesterday evening I worked.
After that I went straight to a rehearsal with my band.
Ah, we drummed, played songs, shouted, had a great time.
Do you have a band? Will you tell us about it?
Yes, a music band.
Ah, it's called "Business Youth".
We play rock.
I was eating mosquitoes.
Lately there's an invasion of them.
I help people.
To people! To people!
Great.
And remember what you did last weekend.
The same thing.
Did you see the number of mosquitoes?
Да.
Yes.
Maybe you traveled somewhere or helped other regions?
Yes, I migrated from that side of the river over to that one.
At that moment we traveled to Perm.
And what did you do in Perm?
Ah, we spent the whole day strolling around different places, dropping into various establishments, ate very tasty food, walked around, and went to museums.
I went to my hometown to see my parents.
I stayed there for a while, went around, and visited my grandmothers.
Then, naturally, I ate some tasty treats at their place, of course.
They are all trying to fatten me up.
Last weekend I was at work.
All weekend I was busy with chores, and then there was cleaning at home.
And where do you work? What were you doing, if it's not a secret?
It's no secret, I do events and parties.
I entertained children, I held parties.
Great.
Was there some celebration? A birthday, probably?
Yes, it was a children's birthday party. Yes.
Last weekend we went to "The Odyssey" and worked.
So how was the film "The Odyssey"?
We never ended up watching it.
How is it for you?
Well, it's beautiful, yes, it's beautiful.
It's fun to watch in a cinema.
I wouldn't watch it anywhere but in a cinema.
Beautiful, grand, pleasant.
And last weekend we went shopping at Chizhik.
After that we washed and combed out the dog.
Oh, what kind of dog do you have?
Ah, a Russian hunting spaniel.
Here, a very cool, sweet girl.
Her name is Lika.
And what has changed in your life over the last year?
It seems to me that I've started devoting more time to work, and also more time to sports.
At some point I even got the chance to give some lectures.
Once I talked about the first Gothic works in Russia, and before that I talked about the history of children's literature at the turn of the century.
Oh, I gave my first lecture.
And what do you give lectures about?
I talked about how tabletop role-playing games improve the psyche.
And is that somehow connected with your profession?
Yes, I'm a clinical psychologist and a social psychotherapist.
This year I bought a dog.
We got a dog, a small Yorkie.
My daughter really wanted us to have a dog.
So we got her.
Great.
And how is it? Was it the right decision, it seems?
It seems so, yes.
Such a small new family member.
A little one, yes. Great.
I liked it so much that recently there has been so much rain.
I've multiplied, and now I have many children.
Ah, he has greatly improved the quality of his filming.
Literally in October of last year I was still filming on a phone.
Only then did I start shooting on a camera.
At one point it broke and I had to buy a new one.
Now I've fixed it, so I work with both the old one and the new one.
I do filming; for now I'm building up experience for free.
Over the whole year there were many concerts, each special in its own way.
So, overall, I've found a little person (a pursuit) for myself.
So.
Is it to your liking?
Yes, it's to my liking.
I've been learning Portuguese for several months already, and what works best for me personally is repeating aloud after other people.
Look, I found such a cool thing, Lingopie, where you can pause the video and repeat, pronouncing the words after the video itself.
Easy Russian.
Actually, it's the same as how you learn Russian on the Easy Russian channel.
Let's try it and see how it goes for me.
Mayonnaise.
Mayonnaise.
Well, that was easy.
Azeite Azeite Azeite Azeite
Pimenta Pimenta Pimenta Pimenta
Açúcar Açúcar

Let's learn together.
Where did you live before, and how did that place differ from this one?
I lived in Plotinka; I liked it there, it was interesting there.
Every weekend there were some kind of events.
In Yekaterinburg, generally, it's a lot of fun.
But again, the rains started, and I had to emigrate to the other side of town, to Ye-potishe, because I decided to multiply.
We lived in a rented apartment and moved to another rented one, but a nicer, cozier, roomier and brighter one.
Before, I lived in an apartment in UPI, and now I've bought a house.
I have a house in the forest.
Wow!
I bought a house, yeah.
And I've already been living in my own house for a year and a half.
And what's it like?
It's cool, it's great.
I have a house.
In my student years, when I studied history, I lived in Chelyabinsk.
It was the first big city I came to.
The streets seemed so gigantic.
I seemed so small.
And now you come to Chelyabinsk and it seems like it's just the same village, essentially.
Now the people of Chelyabinsk who heard that have taken offense.
Well, I could say the same about Yekaterinburg.
And now, memories from childhood.
Remember, what did you do in childhood in the summer?
I ate mosquitoes.
I had one form of entertainment.
Every year at the end of August, my grandfather and I drove toward Tugulym and stole corn.
Every year it was the same: we went to the cornfields and stole corn.
So, so, so.
Well, we, that was two things.
We ate corn.
He also had rabbits, and they ate corn too.
And everyone is happy.
And everyone is happy.
Except for those who grumbled.
Well, everybody there stole.
They ruined the corn!
My most vivid memory is running out onto the street on a hot day.
It was so scorching hot that there was no one to play with.
I ran around on the asphalt and kept falling on it, and in the nineties it was literally all wavy like that.
So it was very hard not to trip.
And literally every day my grandma and grandpa smeared brilliant green and iodine on all my elbows and knees.
All scraped up.
I was just all scraped up like that, yeah.
Childhood summer.
My childhood summer is scraped knees, a bicycle, abandoned construction sites where you could hang out.
That's a construction site.
Or climb.
And climb, yeah, climb, hang out.
In short, it's things like that.
But my childhood didn't pass in this city.
It passed in the city of Tobolsk.
Wow!
There it was a really good, simple childhood summer.
Summers in my childhood were always very free,
because nobody made me go to camps or to my grandmothers' dachas.
I always just saw this time as freedom, a full three months, and I did whatever I wanted.
Well, more often it was walks with friends, meetups, some small trips with my parents,
including because my mom most often also had her vacation in summer,
and these summer days of ours coincided.
So I did a lot of what I wanted.
I just amused myself as best I could.
I remember the moments when I spent the summer at my grandmother's dacha.
It was a place with no electricity.
Such an interesting detail.
For some reason people kept swiping the wires there.
Well, it turned out that I had a place set aside there, a little hut, you could say, all my own.
And there they literally made me a spot where I could lie down with a book, say.
I really loved getting lost in children's detective stories there, for example.
I read a whole pile of them there and, I don't know, you really feel like some great detective in that place.
I drew maps with red thread, connected various crimes, clues and so on.
But actually, these are really pleasant childhood memories.
Plus, nobody needs you, really, in fact.
Well, kind of, everyone even forgets about you a bit.
And you're there, as if you're immersing yourself in your own world.
All in all, it was amazing.

I've been learning Portuguese for several months already, and what works best for me personally is repeating aloud after other people.
Look, I found such a cool thing, Lingopie, where you can pause the video and repeat, pronouncing the words after the video itself.
Easy Russian.Actually, it's the same as how you learn Russian on the Easy Russian channel.
Let's try it and see how it goes for me.
Mayonnaise.
Mayonnaise.
Well, that was easy.
Azeite Azeite Azeite AzeiteOlive oil, olive oil, olive oil, olive oil.
Pimenta Pimenta Pimenta PimentaPepper, pepper, pepper, pepper.
Açúcar AçúcarSugar, sugar.

Summers in my childhood were always very free,
потому что меня никто не заставлял ездить ни в лагеря, ни к бабушкам на дачу.because nobody made me go to camps or to my grandmothers' dachas.
I always just saw this time as freedom, a full three months, and I did whatever I wanted.
Well, more often it was walks with friends, meetups, some small trips with my parents,
в том числе потому, что моя мама чаще всего тоже летом отдыхала,including because my mom most often also had her vacation in summer,
и у нас совпадали вот эти вот летние денечки.and these summer days of ours coincided.
And what did you do last weekend?
